Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has hinted that the activities of saboteurs in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari are part of what is responsible for the lingering strike action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Governor Bello however vowed that such persons whom he described as ‘Judas’ would soon be exposed.
Naija News reports he stated this on Wednesday during an interview with Arise TV while speaking on the lingering ASUU strike which commenced on February 14.

The Federal Government has disclosed plans to close some sections of the Eko Bridge in Lagos State for urgent repairs.
Naija News reports that the affected section, the Alaka-Costain-Iganmu (inward Island) part of the bridge, will be shut down for another 40 days.
The Federal Controller of Works, Lagos State, Engr. (Mrs.) O.I. Kesha, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Works & Housing, revealed that the closure commences on Sunday, 23rd July 2023.

FCT, Abuja - Nigeria now has 147 private universities, according to the executive secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abubakar Rasheed.
The number of private universities rose to 147 after the federal government on Friday, June 9, presented operational licences to the 37 newly approved varsities in the country.
The presentation of the licences, according to Vanguard, was carried out by the NUC at its headquarters in Abuja.
