Anyone but You Gets Digital Release With Deleted Scenes and ASMR Pick-Up Lines Bon

After becoming a surprise box office hit — collecting more than $189 million worldwide and getting an extended theatrical run — “Anyone but You” is now available to watch from home.

Will Gluck’s rom-com, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell as lovers-turned-exes reunited at a destination wedding, becomes available to purchase on Prime Video and Apple TV+ beginning Feb. 20. The digital version includes several bonus features such as outtakes, deleted scenes and “ASMR Pickup Lines,” although Sony notes that extra features will only be available at a select number of online retailers.

The film’s box office success is particularly impressive considering its $25 million budget. And once these filmgoers actually bought their tickets and watched the movie, they weren’t disappointed. The film garnered an impressive 87% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a higher-than-expected 57% average rating from critics.

Variety chief film critic Owen Gleiberman wrote in his review that the formulaic rom-com, a modern take on William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” “is most likable for the brash way it lets its two up-and-coming stars channel the age of antipathy.”

Sweeney and Powell, he adds, have “’mega movie stars of tomorrow’ written all over them, though not merely because they look so good. Both are lightning-fast actors, delivering the spiked screwball banter and — important for this movie — the toxic insults with airy aplomb.”

In addition to the film’s love interest leads, the film also features fellow rom-com stars Dermot Mulroney, Alexandra Shipp, Rachel Griffiths and Michele Hurd. Additional cast members include GaTa, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnet, Hadley Robinson and Joe Davidson.
