The Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu has resigned from the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari following the directive of the President on Wednesday calling on ministers with political ambitions to resign on or before May 16, 2022. President Buhari gave this directive during the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
The resignation of Onu was confirmed by sources within the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Ministry of science and technology.
